LCW Redemption Day 2006 Pay-Per-View Results 11.25.06

LCW Redemption Day Pay-Per-View Results (November 25, 2006) live from the Phillips Arena in Atlanta, GA.

From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Bobby Heenan welcomed everyone to LCW Redemption Day. Schiavone reminded everyone that his normal broadcast partner, Jesse Ventura, would be in the corner of California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger tonight when he faces LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway. Therefore, once again, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan would be with him in the broadcast booth. In the parking lot, Mean Gene Okerlund was waiting for Schwarzenegger and Ventura to arrive at the arena. In another entrance to another parking lot in another part of the building, Sean Mooney was waiting for Calaway to arrive.

Bam Bam Bigelow (with Luna Vachon) defeated LCW Television Champion Steve Williams (with Cowboy Bill Watts) in 8:10 by decision in an ambulance match to win the LCW Television Championship when Bigelow threw Williams in the back of the ambulance and closed the door after a Greetings From Asbury Park through a table by the ambulance. After throwing Williams in the ambulance, Watts tried to attack Bigelow, but Bigelow hit Watts with a powerslam on the cement floor by the ambulance and threw him in the ambulance as well.

In the back, Jake Roberts arrived at the arena and was met at the door by LCW Commissioner Nick Bockwinkel and was told that the contract that Slick signed for the loser leaves LCW match last week on Showdown was valid and binding, but Bockwinkel promised that he would look into it for him and see what he could do for Roberts. Roberts said that he was weak and had made a mistake and that he was sorry. Bockwinkel said, "I know you are, Jake. I'll see what I can do for you." Roberts shook Bockwinkel's hand and walked away and left the arena.

The Rock 'n' Roll Express and The Midnight Express won a 15-team battle royal in 10:44 to determine the two teams who would go on to face Cowboy Bob Orton and Dirty Dick Slater in a triple threat match later in the night to determine the number one contenders for the LCW United States Tag Team Championships. Also in the battle royal were: Rick Steiner and Road Warrior Animal, Rocky Johnson and Tony Atlas, The Brisco Brothers, The Killer Bees, The Young Stallions, The Fantastics, The Bushwhackers, The Funk Brothers, Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard (with James J. Dillon), Doom (with Woman), The Freebirds (with Buddy Roberts), The Islanders, and The Rougeau Brothers (with Jimmy Hart). During the match, Cowboy Bob Orton and Dirty Dick Slater came out and watched the match from the entrance ramp.
Order of Elimination:
- The Bushwhackers were eliminated by Rick Steiner and Road Warrior Animal at 0:47 when Road Warrior Animal press slammed Bushwhacker Luke over the top rope.
- The Freebirds were eliminated by Rick Steiner and Road Warrior Animal at 1:14 when Rick Steiner clotheslined Jimmy Garvin over the top rope.
- The Islanders were eliminated by Rick Steiner and Road Warrior Animal at 2:52 when Road Warrior Animal clotheslined Tama over the top rope.
- Rick Steiner and Road Warrior Animal were eliminated by Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard at 2:59 when Anderson clotheslined Steiner and Blanchard clothesllined Animal over the top rope at the same time.
- Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard were eliminated by Rick Steiner and Road Warrior Animal at 3:12 when Animal and Steiner returned to the ring and threw Anderson and Blanchard over the top rope before brawling with them to the back.
- The Brisco Brothers and The Funk Brothers were eliminated by Doom at 4:29 when Ron Simmons dumped Terry Funk and Jack Brisco, who were brawling with each other, over the top rope.
- The Rougeau Brothers were eliminated by The Killer Bees at 5:11 when Brian Blair dropkicked Raymond Rougeau over the top rope.
- Tony Atlas and Rocky Johnson were eliminated by The Midnight Express at 5:32 when Bobby Eaton clothesline Rocky Johnson over the top rope.
- The Killer Bees were eliminated by Doom at 6:13 when Ron Simmons and Butch reed clotheslined Jim Brunzell over the top rope.
- Doom were eliminated by The Fantastics at 7:35 when The Fantastics double dropkicked Butch Reed over the top rope.
- The Fantastics were eliminated by The Midnight Express at 9:16 when Stan Lane back bodydropped Bobby Fulton as Fulton ran towards him.
- The Young Stallions were eliminated by The Midnight Express at 10:40 when Bobby Eaton pushed Paul Roma off the rope.

In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed Ted DiBiase with Virgil about his match tonight against LCW Heritage Champion Kevin Von Erich. DiBiase said it was simply a matter of destiny. He said Von Erich was going to pay the price tonight and DiBiase was going to take the LCW Heritage Championship no matter the cost. He also warned that his old friend Terry Taylor had better stay out of his way as well or he would just as much a price as Von Erich. Mooney asked about Randy Savage and DiBiase said Savage had forgotten that he could buy and sell anybody and he could buy and sell Savage as well if he had to. DiBiase said Savage had been getting in his way recently, but he had been letting it go, but he had better stay out of his business tonight.

LCW Heritage Champion Kevin Von Erich (with Terry Taylor) defeated Ted DiBiase (with Virgil) in 6:51 by disqualification after Terry Taylor blasted Von Erich with a steel chair right in front of the referee after Von Erich was thrown into the ropes by DiBiase and accidentally knocked Taylor off the ring apron. Taylor continued to attack Von Erich as Savage chased DiBiase out of the ring and through the crowd. LCW security officials came out and pulled Taylor out of the ring as the cameras followed Savage and DiBiase to the back where DiBiase locked himself in a locker room as Savage tried to knock the door down.

In the back, California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger arrived to the arena with Jesse Ventura. Mean Gene Okerlund interviewed Schwarzenegger and Ventura. Schwarzenegger said he was here to do one thing and that was take care of business. He said Calaway had not only insulted him, but also the state of California and he was there to defend his honor and the honor of his state. Okerlund asked Ventura about Calaway threatening to fire him if Schwarzenegger won tonight and Ventura said it wasn't an issue because he could always find work somewhere else. Ventura reiterated that he was solidly behind his friend Arnold Schwarzenegger tonight.

Demolition defeated LCW World Tag Team Champions The Powers of Pain (with Paul Jones) in 6:04 by disqualification after Paul Jones interfered and attacked Smash in front of the referee as Demolition had Barbarian in position for the Decapitation Device. After the match, Demolition hit Paul Jones with the Decapitation Device and then threw him over the top rope and he landed on The Warlord and The Barbarian.

In the back, Randy Savage was still trying to knock Ted DiBiase's locker room door down and now had a sledgehammer and was yelling, "Nobody owns me, you son of a bitch." He was finally able to knock the door off it's hinges, but the window was open and it was apparent that DiBiase and Virgil had escaped the arena through the window.

The Nasty Boys (with Missy Hyatt) defeated Strike Force in 5:17 by pinfall when Brian Knobbs pinned Rick Martel after a powerslam on Missy Hyatt's purse which she threw into the ring in a match to determine the number one contenders for the LCW World Tag Team Championships. After the match, Tito Santana pulled a steel plate out of Missy Hyatt's purse.

In the back, Mean Gene Okerlund interviewed Stone Cold Steve Austin who said he respected Magnum TA more than any other guy in Legends Championship Wrestling, but he was going to do whatever it took to win this match tonight and finish this thing once and for all and prove he was, simply put, better than Magnum TA and win back "his" title. Austin said Magnum has something that belonged to him and he was going to get it back.

Stone Cold Steve Austin defeated LCW International Champion Magnum TA in 29:54 by pinfall after the Stone Cold Stunner in a 30-minute Iron Man match to win the LCW International Championship. After the match, Magnum handed the title to Austin and the two men embraced and Magnum raised Austin's arm in the air.

In the back, Mean Gene Okerlund interviewed Superstar Billy Graham after he arrived to the arena in a limousine. There were reporters taking pictures and Graham told Okerlund, "The 'Superstar' and the future champion is here. Take a good look, because I'm leaving here tonight with the gold, daddy. Take your pictures now, because this is the last time you'll ever get to take a picture of me without the title around my waist."

LCW United States Champion Diamond Dalllas Page defeated Kevin Sullivan (with Kimberly Page) in 7:19 by decision after the Diamond Cutter in a last man standing match after Sullivan couldn't answer the ten count. After the match, Kimberly Page jumped on Page's back and tried to attack him, but he threw her off. She looked like she was going to cry. Page helped her to her feet and then kissed her. She slapped Page and he hit her with the Diamond Cutter before leaving her lying in the ring with Sullivan.

In the back, Mean Gene Okerlund interviewed Cowboy Bob Orton and Dirty Dick Slater about their chances of winning the triple threat match tonight against The Rock 'n' Roll Express and The Midnight Express to determine the number one contenders for the LCW United States Tag Team Championships. Okerlund pointed out that their manager Cowboy Bill Watts wouldn't be in their corner after being powerslammed on the cement floor earlier in the night by Bam Bam Bigelow. Orton said as much as Watts was an asset to their team, he wasn't the team and they could win without him. Orton also talked about the fact that The Rock 'n' Roll Express and The Midnight Express had already wrestled tonight. Orton and Slater said the Original Country Boys were going to go all the way.

Cowboy Bob Orton and Dirty Dick Slater defeated The Rock 'n' Roll Express and The Midnight Express in 5:53 by pinfall when Orton pinned Robert Gibson after the superplex in a triple threat match to determine the number one contenders for the LCW United States Tag Team Championships.

In the back, LCW Universal Champion Nikita Koloff arrived at the arena in a Hummer.

Sgt. Slaughter, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Barry Windham, Mike Rotundo, Corporal Kirchner defeated The Iron Sheik, Nikolai Volkoff, Boris Zhukov, Baron Von Raschke and Sheik Adnan Al-Kassie in 16:55 in an elimination match. Before the match, LCW Commissioner Nick Bockwinkel came out and reminded everyone that the first man eliminated would have to leave Legends Championship Wrestling. Sgt. Slaughter was the sole survivor.
Order of Elimination:
- Hacksaw Jim Duggan was eliminated at 4:01 by disqualification after using the two-by-four on Sheik Adnan Al-Kassie. As a result of being the first person eliminated, Bockwinkel said Hacksaw Jim Duggan was fired. Duggan tried to argue the decision, but Bockwinkel said it was a legitimate elimination and said Duggan knew the consequences going into the match and there was nothing he could do.
- Sheik Adnan Al-Kassie was eliminated at 4:01 after Hacksaw Jim Duggan used his two-by-four on Al-Kassie. Al-Kassie had to be carried to the back by LCW medical officials.
- Boris Zhukov was eliminated by Corporal Kirchner at 6:06 by submission with the Cobra Clutch.
- Mike Rotundo was eliminated by Baron Von Raschke at 7:17 by submission when Raschke applied the claw on Rotundo's already injured neck.
- Baron Von Raschke was eliminated by Barry Windham at 9:02 by pinfall with a small package rollup.
- Corporal Kirchner was eliminated by Nikolai Volkoff at 12:34 by disqualification after Kirchner refused to release the Cobra Clutch after Volkoff had already submitted. The elimination of Volkoff was overturned and Kirchner was eliminated instead.
- Barry Windham was eliminated by The Iron Sheik at 13:12 by submission with the Camel Clutch.
- Nikolai Volkoff was eliminated by Sgt. Slaughter at 14:55 by pinfall when Slaughter pinned Volkoff after the Super Slaughter Cannon clothesline from the top rope.
- The Iron Sheik was eliminated by Sgt. Slaughter at 16:55 by submission with the Cobra Clutch.

In the back, Jesse Ventura and Arnold Schwarzenegger headed to the ring for Schwarzenegger's match against LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway.

LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway defeated Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger (with Jesse Ventura) in 3:42 by pinfall after Jesse Ventura interfered, hit Schwarzenegger with a steel chair, and then draped Calaway's arm over Schwarzenegger. During most of the match, Calaway walked around the ring, got in and out of the ring, and tried to avoid Schwarzenegger. Ventura eventually threw Calaway into the ring, obviously to fool Schwarzenegger into believing that Ventura really was in his corner. However, once the action started, Schwarzenegger dominated Calaway with several forearms and right hands and stomped him in the corner. Ventura got into the ring with a steel chair and looked like he was going to hand it to Schwarzenegger to use on Calaway and even told Schwarzenegger to turn around and pick Calaway up out of the corner so he could hit him with the chair, but when Schwarzenegger turned around Ventura blasted him with the steel chair. Ventura draped Calaway's arm over Schwarzenegger and threw the referee down to the mat to make the pinfall count. After the match, Ventura helped Calaway to his feet and out of the ring. Medical officials quickly came out to check on Schwarzenegger and helped him to the back.

In the back, Mean Gene Okerlund was standing with a doctor and reported from outside The Hart Foundation's locker room door. The doctor told Okerlund that Jim Neidhart had not been medically cleared to wrestle. The doctor said, "He suffered a Grade III concussion which generally translates to no contact sports for about a month. Often in sports such as football or baseball, this would mean the season could potentially be over for the athlete." Okerlund said that there were no seasons in wrestling and that while Neidhart hadn't been cleared to wrestle he had signed a waiver which will allow him to compete tonight. The doctor said, "I can't say enough that Jim Neidhart should be not be in the ring tonight."

Jesse Ventura returned to the broadcast booth, thanked Bobby Heenan for taking his place while he was away, and then laughed at Arnold Schwarzenegger saying he had always wanted to be just like Jesse Ventura. Ventura said he made the movies Predator and Running Man blockbusters. Ventura said he was the Governor of Minnesota and Schwarzenegger had to be just like him and became Governor of California. Schiavone said he was in shock and Ventura said then he could shut up and Ventura could do the rest of the show.

LCW United States Tag Team Champions The Skyscrapers defeated The Hart Foundation in 3:24 by pinfall when Sid Vicious pinned Jim Neidhart after Neidhart collapsed in the middle of the ring. After the match, Neidhart had to be taken from the ring on a stretcher.

In the back, Mean Gene Okerlund interviewed Superstar Billy Graham again and Graham said tonight was the night that his destiny would be realized because tonight he was going to win the LCW Universal Championship from Nikita Koloff.

The Yakuza Mafia (Keiji Muto, Masahiro Chono, Kensuke Sasaki, Yoshihiro Tenzan, and Genichiro Tenryu) defeated Fuji's Crew (Don Muraco, Killer Khan, The Orient Express, and Mr, Fuji) in 9:47 in an elimination match. Keiji Muto, Masahiro Chono, Kensuke Sasaki, and Hiroyoshi Tenzan were the survivors.
Order of Elimination:
- Sato was eliminated by Kensuke Sasaki at 2:35 by pinfall after the Northern Lights Bomb.
- Genichiro Tenryu was eliminated by Don Muraco at 4:18 by pinfall after a powerslam after Mr. Fuji threw powder in Tenryu's eyes.
- Tanaka was eliminated by Hiroyoshi Tenzan at 7:22 by submission with the Anaconda Vice.
- Killer Khan was eliminated by Masahiro Chono at 8:15 by pinfall after the Shining Yakuza Kick.
- Don Muraco was eliminated by Keiji Muto at 8:40 by pinfall after the Shining Wizard.
- Mr. Fuji was eliminated by Keiji Muto at 9:47 by pinfall after the Shining Wizard.

From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Jesse Ventura announced that for the first time ever Rowdy Roddy Piper would host the Piper's Pit interview segment on LCW Showdown next week announcement with LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway and Jesse Ventura. Ventura said they would explain why they screwed Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Superstar Billy Graham defeated LCW Universal Champion Nikita Koloff in 13:16 by pinfall with a rollup with his feet on the ropes to win the LCW Universal Championship.
