LCW Redemption Day 2005 Pay-Per-View Results 12.25.05

LCW Redemption Day Pay-Per-View Results (December 25, 2005) live from US Airways Arena in Phoenix, AZ.

Nikita Koloff defeated LCW International Champion Masahiro Chono (with Genichiro Tenryu) in 10:04 by pinfall after the Russian Sickle after The Great Muta interfered and accidentally sprayed his red mist in the eyes of Chono. After the match, Tenryu yelled at Muta and blamed him for the loss. Muta blew his mist in the eyes of Tenryu. Chono then attacked Muta from behind and hit him with the mafia kick before locking the STF on Muta. LCW security officials came out and pulled Chono off of Muta.

In the back, Hiroyoshi Tenzan and Kensuke Sasaki attacked The Great Muta leaving him busted wide open.

Ken Patera, One Man Gang, and King Kong Bundy (with Bobby Heenan) defeated Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Diamond Dallas Page, and Jake Roberts in 8:24 by submission when Patera made Duggan submit to the full nelson.

In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed Bobby Heenan and the Heenan Family as they were making their way through the curtain. Heenan proclaimed, "the Heenan Family is back!"

The Steiner Brothers defeated Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard on 15:10 by pinfall when Scott Steiner pinned Tully Blanchard after the Frankensteiner while Rick Steiner hit Arn Anderson with a Steinerline clothesline out of the ring.

In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed Gary Hart who said he had an opponent for The Undertaker, but he wasn't going to be a sacrifice, he was going to make a sacrifice with The Undertaker.

The Undertaker (with Paul Bearer) defeated Mankind (with Gary Hart) in 9:21 in an inferno match after Mankind clotheslined himself and The Undertaker over the top rope, but The Undertaker landed on the floor and Mankind’s arm caught on fire.

LCW United States Champion Ted DiBiase (with Virgil) defeated Ron Simmons and Ahmed Johnson in 10:36 by pinfall when DiBiase pinned Johnson after Butch Reed interfered and attacked Ahmed Johnson. During the match, Butch Reed interfered and attacked Ahmed Johnson. Ron Simmons watched the attack for a moment, before joining Reed in attacking Johnson and then leaving the ring with his former Doom tag team partner as DiBiase covered Johnson for the pinfall and the win.

In the back, Sean Mooney approached Butch Reed and Ron Simmons and asked Simmons why he attacked Johnson. Before he could answer the question, Woman appeared and said, “Boys, you don’t have to answer his questions.” She then turned to Mooney and said, “If you have any questions for Doom, you can direct them to me.” Woman and Doom walked away as Mooney looked on in shock.

Big Van Vader (with Harley Race) defeated Sid Vicious in 6:31 by disqualification after Dan Spivey, who was sitting at ringside, handed his steel chair to Vicious who went into the ring and hit Vader with it in a number one contenders match for the LCW International Championship. After the match, Sid Vicious left with Dan Spivey and they left through the crowd.

LCW Television Champion Magnum T.A. defeated Sgt. Slaughter (with Sheik Adnan Al-Kassie) in 9:40 in a boot camp match by pinfall after the belly to belly suplex after Magnum threw Slaughter into the end of a broken flagpole that Al-Kassie was holding on the ring apron.

In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed Shawn Michaels, the special guest referee in the upcoming best of three falls match between Stunning Steve Austin and Bret Hart. Michaels said tonight's screwjob was going to make Montreal seem like a picnic because this time it was going to be "...right...in front...of your face!"

Stunning Steve Austin defeated Bret Hart in 21:50 in a best of three falls match with Shawn Michaels as the special guest referee.
Order of Decisions:
- Steve Austin defeated Bret Hart at 3:46 by decision after special guest referee Shawn Michaels hit Hart with a steel chair busting him wide open in a first blood match.
- Bret Hart defeated Steve Austin at 15:21 by submission with the Sharpshooter in a street fight. During this match, Hart pushed Michaels from the entrance stage to the floor below and another referee came out to make the official submission decision.
- Steve Austin defeated Bret Hart at 21:10 by pinfall when Austin pinned Hart after the Stun Gun on the top rope after Shawn Michaels came into the cage and hit Hart with the Superkick.

LCW Women’s Champion Madusa defeated Bull Nakano in 5:34 by pinfall with the German suplex bridge.

Strike Force defeated The Nasty Boys (with Missy Hyatt) in 7:50 by pinfall when Tito Santana pinned Brian Knobbs with a rollup after Jerry Sags accidentally hit Knobbs with Missy Hyatt’s purse in a number one contenders match for the LCW World Tag Team Championships. During the match, Missy Hyatt threw her purse into the ring to Sags. Outside the ring, Rick Martel grabbed Missy Hyatt and kissed her on the mouth as Knobbs grabbed Santana and Sags went to hit Santana with Missy Hyatt’s purse, but Santana moved out of the way and Santana pinned Knobbs for the win as Martel pulled Sags out of the ring so he wouldn’t interfere in the pinfall.

Stan Hansen (with Jesse Ventura) defeated LCW Universal Champion Hulk Hogan in 16:21 by decision after touching all four corners in a bullrope match to win the LCW Universal Championship. During the match, Stan Hansen was disqualified by the referee when Ventura tripped Hogan from ringside. LCW Chairman of the Board Ted Turner came out and announced that there was going to be a special guest referee for the match: LCW Commissioner Cowboy Bill Watts. As the match continued, Watts ignored Ventura’s blatant interference until Watts was accidentally knocked out by a chairshot intended for Hogan who was being held by Hansen. Hogan managed to fight off Ventura and Hansen and hit Hansen with the legdrop. The original referee came back to the ring and Hogan dragged Hansen to three corners and was going for the fourth when Ted Turner came back out and pulled the referee out of the ring and knocked him out. Turner then got in Hogan’s face saying he assigned Bill Watts as referee. Hogan grabbed Turner and was going to hit him, but Ventura hit Hogan across the back with a steel chair and then hit him with a massive chairshot to the head. As Watts regained consciousness, Ventura helped Hansen drag Hogan and touched all four corners to become the new LCW Universal Champion.
