LCW Unleashed 2005 Pay-Per-View Results 11.20.05

LCW Unleashed Pay-Per-View Results (November 20, 2005) live from the Rose Garden in Portland, OR.

Jim Ross, Jerry Lawler, and Lance Russell opened the show announcing that the rumors of the sale of Legends Championship Wrestling to a group of investors are true and LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway would be stepping down from his post this Wednesday on Showdown and he would introduce the new Chairman of the Board at Showdown. Ross, Lawler, and Russell talked about who the new Chairman of the Board might be, but they didn't know for sure. Ross said he had heard that the new Chairman of the Board had been personally selected by the group of investors and did have past wrestling experience. Lawler said that was good and Russell suggested that maybe it wasn't.

Wendi Richter defeated LCW Women’s Champion Bull Nakano in 4:43 by pinfall with a rollup after Akira Hokuto interfered and accidentally hit Nakano to win the LCW Women’s Championship. During the match, Akira Hokuto came down to ringside to watch the match and tripped Richter moments after she arrived. Nakano then held Richter so that Hokuto could hit her, but Richter moved out of the ring and Hokuto accidentally hit Nakano instead. After the match, Hokuto tried to apologize to Nakano, but Nakano just walked away.

Masahiro Chono (with Genichiro Tenryu) defeated LCW International Champion Big Van Vader (with Harley Race) in 8:24 by pinfall after Keiji Muto interfered and blew his green mist in Vader’s eyes to win the LCW International Championship. During the match, Hiroyoshi Tenzan and Kensuke Sasaki interfered and tried to attack Vader, but he managed to fight them off.

Sid Vicious and Nikita Koloff won a 20-man battle royal in 17:04 when they eliminated each other at the same time to become the number one contenders for the LCW International Championship. Also included in the battle royal were: Cowboy Bob Orton, Don Muraco, Greg Valentine, The Honky Tonk Man, King Kong Bundy, Ken Patera, Superstar Billy Graham, Ahmed Johnson, Billy Jack Haynes, Brutus Beefcake, Diamond Dallas Page, Dusty Rhodes, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Hillbilly Jim, Kamala, Jimmy Snuka, Koko B. Ware, and Ivan Putski. After the match, it was announced that Sid Vicious and Nikita Koloff were both winners of the battle royal and were also both the number one contenders for the LCW International Championship.

Lex Luger defeated Barry Windham in 5:20 by submission with the Torture Rack. After the match, Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard came out and attacked Luger until Sting came out with a steel chair to save Luger.

In the back, LCW International Champion Masahiro Chono attacked Nikita Koloff in his locker room until Big Van Vader came into the locker room and attacked Masahiro Chono. Sid Vicious then got involved and attacked Vader and Koloff. All four men brawled until LCW security officials came out and seperated them from each other.

LCW World Tag Team Champions The Steiner Brothers defeated The Outsiders (with Shawn Michaels) in 9:16 by pinfall when Scott Steiner pinned Scott Hall after the Frankensteiner. Towards the end of the match, Shawn Michaels attempted to interfere in the match, but Scott Steiner hit Michaels with a Frankensteiner over the top rope.

In the back, Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard attacked The Steiner Brothers in the arena corridor as they made their way to the locker room. LCW security officials came out and pulled Anderson and Blanchard off of The Steiner Brothers. As medical officials checked on the bloody Steiner Brothers and security took Anderson and Blanchard away, Anderson kept yelling, "We get the next shot, Steiners. We get the next shot."


LCW Television Champion Sgt. Slaughter (with Sheik Adnan Al-Kassie) defeated Ricky Steamboat in 8:55 by knockout with the Camel Clutch after Al-Kassie broke the Iraqi flag pole over Steamboat’s head. During the match, Al-Kassie hit Steamboat with the flagpole, breaking the flag pole and busting Steamboat wide open. Steamboat didn’t submit, but passed out due to lack of blood. After the match, Al-Kassie made an open challenge to anyone in the arena. Magnum T.A. jumped the security barricade and accepted the challenge.

Magnum T.A. defeated LCW Television Champion Sgt. Slaughter (with Sheik Adnan Al-Kassie) in 0:37 by pinfall after a belly-to-belly suplex onto a steel chair to win the LCW Television Championship. During the match, Al-Kassie tried to hit Magnum T.A. with the steel chair, but Magnum dropkicked the steel chair into Al-Kassie, knocking Al-Kassie out of the ring. Magnum then hit Slaughter with the belly-to-belly suplex on the steel chair for the pinfall and the win.

Abdullah The Butcher (with Gary Hart) defeated The Undertaker (with Paul Bearer) in 12:10 by pinfall in a no disqualification, no countout match after The Missing Link, Kamala, and Cactus Jack came out and attacked The Undertaker with steel chairs. After the match, Gary Hart had a casket rolled out to the ring. As Jack, Link, Kamala, and Abdullah tried to put The Undertaker in the casket, Paul Bearer attacked Gary Hart outside the ring. Link, Kamala, and Abdullah attacked Bearer to save Hart. Meanwhile, in the ring, Cactus Jack tried to keep The Undertaker in the casket. The Undertaker managed to fight off Jack. The Undertaker began to attack Link, Kamala, Abdullah, and Jack and helped Paul Bearer escape from the attack. Gary Hart then realized that he had Paul Bearer’s urn. The Gallery of Freaks allowed The Undertaker and Paul Bearer to walk away. Gary Hart then began to try and open the urn. Bearer yelled at him not to, but he persisted. As Hart managed to open the urn, it exploded in a ball of fire in the face of Hart and the rest of the Gallery of Freaks. Cactus Jack fell to the floor in excruciating pain. Replays showed that when Hart opened the urn it was pointed directly at Jack and he was in the direct path of the fireball. Medical officials tended to Cactus Jack who was screaming in pain as Paul Bearer and The Undertaker left.

Shawn Michaels (with Kevin Nash and Scott Hall) defeated Bret Hart (with Jim Neidhart) in 19:12 in a first blood match after Stunning Steve Austin interfered and hit Bret Hart with a steel chair, busting him wide open. During the match, Nash and Hall interfered and attacked Hart, but they were caught by the referee and ejected from the match. After the match, Austin and Michaels attacked Hart. Michaels hit him with the Superkick, Austin hit him with the Stun Gun, and then hit him with the Stunner. Kevin Nash and Scott Hall came out back and attacked Jim Neidhart who tried to save Hart. Nash hit Neidhart with a powerbomb on the floor. Neidhart had to be taken away on a stretcher as Nash, Hall, Michaels, and Austin celebrated together in the ring.

LCW United States Champion Ted DiBiase (with Virgil) defeated Jake Roberts in 7:51 by pinfall with a rollup after Virgil hit Roberts with the title belt. After the match, Roberts attacked Virgil, hitting him with the DDT and then draping his snake all over Virgil. DiBiase, who didn’t want to touch the snake, didn’t make much of an effort to get Virgil out of the ring until Roberts pulled the snake off of him.

LCW Universal Champion Hulk Hogan defeated Jesse Ventura in 12:14 by disqualification after Stan Hansen interfered and attacked Hogan. After the match, Hansen continued attacking Hogan, hanging him over the top rope with his bull rope as Ventura rubbed the title belt in Hogan’s face. Ventura then hit Hogan with the title belt, busting him wide open. Randy Savage came out with a steel chair to save Hogan from further attack.
